Founded in 2007 by its owners David & Cindy Coombes, Coombes & Co started it’s journey as Caribbean Island Properties and grew into a well known and respected real estate business over the next 16 years. With a focus on quality, personalized service and informed advice, the business has recently been rebranded to emphasise it’s concentration on giving an enhanced level of commitment to its discerning clients.
With a wealth of experience selling and managing residential homes, luxury villas, plantation properties, commercial real estate, land and holiday homes, the company is now well poised with a newly launched website to carefully manage it’s growth whilst ensuring it that no compromises are made on the integrity of its core principles of honesty, integrity and professionalism.

David Coombes
Managing Director
David Coombes is the CEO of Coombes & Co, bringing with him a wealth of local, regional and International sales experience gained over 40 years. He ran his own real estate business in the UK and travelled across Europe and the Middle East in his role as Sales Director for Paramount Pictures, where he developed the sales of their television programming for a decade and achieved the biggest sale of TV programming in Russia in the 90s.
He has grown and developed Coombes & Co into a successful real estate business and has a clear vision for it to become one of the finest dedicated boutique real estate companies in the region.
Born in Jamaica to a British father and a Barbadian mother, he was raised in Barbados and the UK. David is dedicated to providing a personalised service and building strong relationships with his clients. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, surfing, skiing and being active outdoors.
Cindy Coombes
Director
With many years of experience in admin and support in Barbados and overseas Cindy lived in Paris for many years and speaks fluent French. Cindy is a founding member and Director of Coombes & Co.
Rosemary Inniss
Senior Real Estate Broker
Rosemary Inniss, a seasoned Real Estate Broker with over 15 years at Caribbean Island Properties Inc. now Coombes & Co. is driven by a passion for real estate and a genuine connection with clients. Born in Barbados, she spent her formative years in England and Canada, returning to Barbados over 27 years ago. Known for her exceptional dedication, Rosemary assists clients in achieving their real estate goals, and outside work, she enjoys Formula 1 racing and creative projects, expressing her warm and welcoming personality in both professional and personal pursuits.
Samantha Coombes
Junior Real Estate Agent
Influenced by her parents' entrepreneurial spirit, Samantha entered the real estate industry, inspired by their success in building a thriving company. Fuelled by a passion for our island's real estate market, she is dedicated to upholding their tradition of excellence as a sales and rentals agent. Beyond real estate, Samantha is an animal lover and social enthusiast, committed to making her client’s real estate journey seamless and rewarding while embracing the island's culture and natural beauty.
Cathyann Bayley-Boyce
Property Manager/ Junior Sales Agent
Cathyann, with over a decade of experience in her family's hotels, gained hands-on training across all departments, fostering a deep understanding of property management and guest satisfaction. Her passion for Real Estate began over 20 years ago in Reservations, evolving into a role where she personally guided clients, showcased villas, and provided tailored services, complemented by her background as a Personal Assistant and Document Controller for an Offshore Company. Committed to delivering excellent service, Cathyann, a charismatic Bajan native, balances her professional journey with family life, enjoying swimming, culinary pursuits, and socializing.
Mickhel Rhodes
Holiday Rentals Manager
Mickhel Rhodes serves as the Holiday Rentals Manager at Caribbean Island Properties, having held this position since 2020. With a master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role, making her adept at ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Over the past three years, Mickhel has demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and adeptly navigated challenging and intricate situations. Guided by strong core values, she prioritizes proactivity, integrity, and transparency in her approach. Mickhel is dedicated to meeting the needs of guests and is genuinely passionate about her role. Outside of work, she finds joy in staying active through exercise and indulging in suspenseful movies.
Gina-Lee Johnson

Born in Trinidad and having lived in Canada, England, and Grenada, she returned to Barbados, considering it her home since 1997. Gina-Lee is a highly respected hospitality professional with a diverse career spanning almost 40 years. With extensive experience in bars, restaurants, and managing award-winning establishments, she has excelled in roles such as Brand Manager, Hotel Manager and Leader of Residential Property Management. With a passion for creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, Gina-Lee believes in the power of teamwork and carefully established processes. In her free time, she indulges in creative pursuits like cooking and painting, and her love for travel is fuelled by a desire to spend quality time with her son in England.
Lisa St. John
Head of Administration
Lisa St. John, originally from Guyana and raised in Barbados, is recognized for her remarkable leadership skills and exceptional organizational abilities. Renowned for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to delivering excellence. Lisa has previously owned a prominent wedding planning company for over a decade. Her subsequent success as a property manager overseeing eight apartments has earned her widespread acclaim and commendation. Lisa’s career in event planning has taken her across the Caribbean and even as far as Cologne, Germany. However, amidst her professional accomplishments, she considers her ability to have harmoniously balanced her work and family life as a significant personal achievement.
Kizzi Gibbs
Receptionist, Sales Administrator
