You couldn’t pick a better beautiful location. The hosts were very responsive to all my queries. The lady that looked over the house, Claudette, was truly amazing, very friendly, full of knowledge of local places to eat and kept the outside of the house pristine. Olivia, who owns the house, was also amazing, very friendly and full of local history and had lots of great stories about the area and the island. Totally relaxing house and beach, great reef just outside the back door where turtles are everyday.

Had a wonderful stay, Kathy the house manager was very helpful and kind. House is more beautiful in life than pictures show. Location was great, have kids ranging in age from 9-19 and there were enjoyable restaurants, beaches and activities in walking distance for all. Multiple groceries walkable also. Driver, David was also great. Highly recommend this rental, hope to be back soon

My partner and I stayed with another couple for several nights at cozy cottage and had a lovely time. The best part was seeing monkeys in the trees, the cattle grazing across the street, and the gorgeous scenery. It’s such a beautiful property and it’s tucked into a very local area, so it’s very quiet most of the time.There is a main road that is quite winding right in front of the house, and drivers often honk their horns as they round the turns. Additionally, because the space is so open to the gorgeous outside, there were often droppings from rodents, etc. on countertops in the morning time that needed to be cleaned. Additionally, we were bitten almost constantly by mosquitoes even while we slept under mosquito nets at night. Bug spray is an absolute must here, but we really had a lovely time, and the scenery is absolutely to die for. The hosts were also very generous and kind and we were all happy to have met them. I would absolutely stay here again—with bug spray!

The place is a bit outside of the beaten track. Very quiet, beautiful surroundings. All open space and a funny kitchen. It is so hight, that my wife could not see in the cocking pot. It didn’t bother us, we anyway just had breakfast in the house. There are many options for food nearby.
We didn’t had any problems with mosquitoes or red ants. All in all it was the perfect place for us to stay this few days in Barbados.

A truly extraordinary house in a super convenient location!! The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this home in real life, especially the sun sets in the evening from the back patio. Very well appointed kitchen, Sonos sounds system throughout, and comfy beds. Cathyann was amazing, had our fridge stocked on arrival!! We'll certainly be back.

I love this spot Right by the water so the breeze was wonderful, my son enjoyed the pool everyday. The kitchen was big and lots of space I will definitely come back and recommend this place to people Thanks for a week of paradise.

This place is the perfect stay, the house has everything you need for a long stay, the patio is beautiful the neighborhood is quite and calm, the location is good, keep in mind you need a vehicle or taxy to transport it everywhere, like most of the island is like that but this house is a gem so comfortable 3 bed 2 bath, nice kitchen, an outdoor grill, nice patio, AC only in bedrooms

Beautiful home, fantastic location, and prompt communication. Can’t wait to visit Barbados again.

Everything about the property is just what we wanted. Up in the hills away from the bland beachfront apartments, good view, veranda to sit out on in the evening, and a warm relaxing interior. You will be sharing with the odd bird and local mouse, but that's part of the charm.

The cottage is situated on the delightful Sugar Hill estate, which is a wonderful, peaceful escape for your holiday. It has easy access to Holetown for shops and restaurants. There a plenty of beaches in the area too. The swimming pools at Sugar Hill are quiet, clean and have the most amazing views. The cottage has the perfect location away from it all, we loved watching the sunset from the terrace. Our hosts offered a mid stay clean in the beautiful, spacious accommodation and also did some laundry for us. We really couldn’t ask for more! Thank you for the perfect holiday.

We enjoyed our three day stay at David’s place…well fitted out, comfortable and efficient. No complaints. We will be back

We have stayed in many villas across the Caribbean and we all agreed this was the cleanest and nicest building we have stayed in. There was no musty smell, the AC worked great, lots of hot water, quiet bedrooms, and a great kitchen. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and a small store is a 1 minute walk up the road and has essentials at reasonable prices. Carlisle and Glennis were on site each day taking care of the place and were always friendly and helpful. A couple of things to be aware. The green monkey is on the second floor and there is a large tree that blocks the view of the water. Carlisle trimmed it during our stay but if you really want a great view of the beach and water the lower or upper floor is a better choice. As well, the beach is fine but rocky in front of the villa. You have to walk 50m to the right for a sandy entry. Snorkelling is just ok. Overall a great stay.
