1. Soup Bowl (Bathsheba):
   • Located on the east coast of Barbados, Soup Bowl is renowned for its powerful and consistent waves, making it a favourite among experienced surfers. Primarily a right wave, Soup Bowl can be exceptionally powerful during substantial swells. Breaking in approximately 7 feet of water over a protruding rock shelf into the Atlantic Ocean, it is renowned for its heavy barrels and substantial surf. It is a world-class surf spot and often hosts international surfing competitions.
2. Freights  Bay:
   • Freights Bay, on the south coast, is a popular spot for surfers of all levels. The waves are more forgiving, and the bay is sheltered, making it suitable for beginners. It boasts the longest left wave in Barbados, making it an ideal spot for longboarders, intermediate surfers, and beginners due to its moderate power. With swells exceeding 6 feet, the wave transforms into a hollow, perfect playground for shortboard enthusiasts. Breaking in about 4 feet of water, the bottom comprises mostly sand and reef, ensuring a safe surfing experience for all skill levels.
3. Tropicana (Thunder Bay):

• • Located on the west coast, Tropicana, also known as Brandons, is a beach break that offers a variety of waves suitable for surfers of different skill levels. It’s a more relaxed surf spot with a friendly atmosphere. Caution: Shallow left barrel, which is extreme at low tide. Beware of fire coral bottom. Avoid going right due to dry reef. Ideal for beachside watching, but watch out for powerful shore break.

The swells gracefully ascend onto the reef, forming a flawless barrel that extends all the way to the beach. It’s a more secluded spot, offering a quieter surfing experience. Maycocks reaches its peak during low tide, forming hollow sections that enhance the wave’s character. 8. Long Beach:
